World Book Night

We have just received a donation of two of the World Book Night titles: Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island and A Little History of the World by E.H. Gombrich. It is always interesting to see where these books migrate! What an interesting initiative it is to encourage literacy, love of reading, and help build community. And if you are wondering why World Book Night takes place on 23rd April... well it just happens to be, amongst other things, Shakespeare's birth (and death) day.  Happy reading!

    I haven't read it myself but back when I worked at Waterstones we sold copies of the E.H. Gombrich book by the bucketload. How nice to have them donated!
